The Street Department maintains approximately 150 miles of public city streets. Each year the city conducts a concrete street/sidewalk repair program, asphalt street repair program, and joint sealing program in order to maintain all streets in the city. In addition, they sweep streets on a regular schedule, plow snow during weather events, and maintain the city's storm sewer system.
